Project Coordinator: April 2005 to Present /Xerox Corporation/Cognizant

My current position is as the project coordinator on a 100+ million dollar implementation of a new Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) for a Midwestern State that serves over 60,000 people.  This system will replace a 1970’s legacy system.  I currently work with an executive team of 40 people.  My responsibilities include:

·                                                           Coordinating meetings and correspondence between the client (State), internal clients and external contractors and vendors.  This requires me to interact with a diverse group of stakeholders at all levels, including client senior management.  I am responsible for sending and managing invites, agendas, relevant meeting documentation and then recording and publishing meeting minutes and other follow ups as directed. 

·                                                           Preparing reports, meeting minutes and other critical project documentation using Microsoft tools, I work independently without supervision producing high quality and accurate meeting minutes and reports, resulting in productive meetings and planning sessions.

·                                                           Functioning as the SharePoint content administrator, I ensure adherence to the system delivery process guidelines. I am responsible for maintaining accurate SharePoint content which includes:  risks, change requests, issues and action items lists as well as other ad hoc project collateral as needed.  I am also the backup SharePoint administrator.

·                                                           Creating and maintaining project organizational charts, rosters, project reports and distribution lists.

·Planning and managing offsite project Summit Meetings, negotiating favorable terms and pricing agreements with hotels, caterers, restaurants and other vendors.

·                                                           Gathering and delivering artifacts for a 3rd party audit to attain and maintain CMMI Level III certification.

·                                                           Creation of weekly time reporting reports for 10 managers.

·                                                           Assurance that processes, procedures and standards are adhered to (as part of the PMO team).

·                                                           Initiation and management of an onsite health fitness challenge program for 50+ employees. Development and maintenance of a health awareness information bulletin board.
